Students in our class visited Colonial Williamsburg in December. Students made their way around the classroom participating in activities that colonists would have done in early America. Girls attended "Dame School" where they learned how to sew and boys attended college where they used ink to write common rules of etiquette during that time period. Students also approved or denied actual bills that were presented during this time period in Williamsburg and played a colonial dice game called: The Royal and Most Pleasant Game of the Goose (say that five times fast!).
